Squirrel Puzzle

The squirrel puzzle consists of 5 pieces. It is made from  Southern Yellow Pine.  This is an interlocking, freestanding puzzle. It is 4" tall x 5" long, 3/4" thick.

The squirrel puzzle is part of my animal collection.

Wooden puzzles are often much more challenging than they look. The benefits of puzzles for kids and toddlers include eye-hand coordination, fine motor skills, spatial recognition, sequencing, and color recognition. They are meant to be played with and are of course kid friendly using untreated wood and are ready for the little ones to paint them any color they'd like. You can easily customize them to create learning opportunities for children: use colors, numbers or letters.
